Small and Medium Enterprises engaged in manufacturing sector produce more than 8000 different products, providing employment to large number of skilled and unskilled workers. There are around 30 million Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in India who train the unskilled workers and transform them into skilled personnel thereby increasing the skilled workforce of India. While services sector is the biggest contributor to India's GDP, manufacturing sector is seen as the driver for boosting the exports.
